The KLP rosette is a medium—early infection-resistant sunflower hybrid developed for the Clearfield® Plus production system. It is characterized by high adaptability, stable yield and pronounced heat and drought resistance. The hybrid shows excellent results in conditions of extensive farming and low-cost technologies.

The height of the plants ranges from 150 to 170 cm, depending on the level of moisture supply. The CLP rosette is resistant to A–G infection due to a combination of herbicidal and genetic protection, which ensures complete control, including protection against secondary infection. Early flowering helps the basket to avoid seasonal adverse conditions, and a quick start of development promotes confident competition with weeds.

The hybrid demonstrates high yield potential and stable results from season to season. The oil content can reach up to 53%. Technologically, the hybrid is versatile: it is suitable for classical, minimal and zero tillage.

The KLP rosette has a high general tolerance to diseases, resistance to sclerotinia and drought, as well as moderate resistance to phomopsis.

Recommendations on cultivation technology include:
– flexibility in the timing of sowing;
– stable results even on poor soils;
– suitability for resource-saving and low-energy agriculture;
– the need to avoid thickened crops;
– it is not recommended to grow in regions with waterlogged soils.
