Сузука HTS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Suzuka is a simple late—ripening sunflower hybrid optimized for the use of the herbicide Express™ (tribenuron-methyl). It is highly resistant to drought, heat and new races of contagion.
The hybrid forms powerful plants with a well-made basket and a high oil content. Due to its rapid initial development and powerful root system, it effectively tolerates arid conditions and high temperatures. It is suitable for various tillage technologies, including classic, minimal and No-till.
It is included in the State Register for the Middle Volga region and recommended for cultivation in the Penza region.
KEY ADVANTAGES
Herbicide resistance Express™ (ExpressSun® technology)
High drought and heat resistance
Genetic resistance to contagion (races A–G)
High oil content
Rapid initial development and a powerful root system
Stable productivity even on poor soils

AGRONOMIC FEATURES
Early flowering contributes to the formation of a well-made basket.
The rapid start of growth ensures the development of the root system before the onset of drought.
The homozygosity of the hybrid ensures resistance to the full rate of the herbicide Express™ (50 g/ha).
In tests, the hybrid withstood an increased rate of up to 90 g/ha.
RESISTANCE TO DISEASES AND STRESS FACTORS
Zarazikha — races A–G
False powdery mildew is resistant
Phomopsis is a mild lesion
Rust — medium resistance
White rot is susceptible
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CULTIVATION
Recommended tillage technology: classic, minimal, and No-till.
The hybrid is flexible to the timing of sowing and provides stable results even in low-cost farming conditions.
To obtain maximum yields, it is recommended to avoid thickening crops.
