MC Extra
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MC Extra is a biostimulator for increasing yields and regulating the vegetative-productive balance of plants. The drug contains a complex of active phytocomponents, including betaines, cytokinins, polysaccharides, proteins, beta-glucans, and macro- and mesoelements.
The active ingredients are derived from Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed and specially processed to enhance the physiological processes of plants. The drug stimulates growth, increases plant resistance to stress and promotes the formation of high-quality crops even in adverse weather conditions.
MC Extra is especially effective on fruit crops, where it helps to reduce excessive vegetative growth and direct nutritional resources to fruit formation, reducing ovary shedding.
KEY ADVANTAGES
Increases productivity and product quality
Regulates the balance between vegetative growth and fruiting
Reduces ovary shedding
Increases plant resistance to stressful conditions
It stimulates metabolic processes and photosynthesis
Activates the protective functions of plants
Promotes the uniform development and formation of fruits
Completely soluble in water
mechanism of action
The active components of the drug affect the physiological processes of plants:
Cytokinins stimulate cell division and the development of generative organs.
Betaines increase the resistance of plants to adverse environmental conditions.
Polysaccharides and beta-glucans enhance the immune mechanisms of plants.
Alginic acid and mannitol improve the absorption of nutrients and stimulate metabolic processes.
In fruit crops, the drug regulates auxin activity, which reduces the vegetative growth of shoots and directs nutritional resources to fruit development.
COMPOSITION (w/w)
Organic nitrogen (N) — 1.0 %
Potassium oxide (K₂O) — 24.1 %
Calcium oxide (CaO) — 1.0 %
Magnesium oxide (MgO) — 1.5 %
Carbohydrates — 35.0 %
Cytokinins — 0.08 %
Betaines — 0.20 %
Proteins — 6.25 %
Mannitol — 4.0 %
Alginic acid — 10.0 %
METHOD OF APPLICATION
The drug is used in the form of leaf top dressing.
APPLICATION STANDARDS
Vegetable crops
5-10 g / 10 l of water per 100 m2, treated weekly starting from ovary formation.
Field and technical crops
0.5 kg/ha, 1-3 treatments.
Flower crops
5-10 g / 10 l of water per 100 m2, treatment every 7-10 days.
Fruit and berry crops
5-10 g / 10 l of water per 100 m2, treatment every 7-10 days.
Note: the drug is especially effective during ovary formation and fruit filling, when plants need to redistribute nutrients and stimulate generative processes.
