Mechanism of action
Systemic distribution of both active substances in the plant.
• Mepiquate chloride* inhibits the synthesis of gibberellins (growth hormones).
• Metconazole inhibits the functioning of monooxygenases. These enzymes catalyze a large number of reactions, such as:

 Ergosterol biosynthesis (fungicidal action)
 Gibberellin production (growth regulation)
 Abscisic acid catabolism (stress resistance). Metconazole penetrates into plant tissues, moves into them locally systemically and acropetally.
