Purpose

Post-emergence herbicide of systemic action for use on crops of cereal crops and corn in the fight against annual and some perennial dicotyledonous (broad-leaved) weeds.

Active substance

2,4-D acid as 2-ethylhexyl ether, 850 g/l

Mechanism of action

Effect, k.e. the active substance of the drug is absorbed by the plant through its above-ground parts and roots, penetrating to the meristem tissues (growth points) and preventing the process of division of growth cells, which leads to the death of the plant. The drug acts as an auxin-like weed growth inhibitor.

Methods and timing of use

Spraying crops in the tillering phase of the crop. To achieve maximum effectiveness, the product must be applied using well-regulated equipment and applied evenly to the leaf surface. It is recommended to use slot sprayers that provide an average droplet size when spraying. After using the product, rinse the sprayer and related equipment thoroughly with water.

Duration of effect manifestation (notes)

The first symptoms of the drug’s effect on sensitive annual weeds appear within 2-3 hours from the moment of application, and on perennials - after 1-2 days. Complete destruction of weeds occurs after 3–7 days or more.

Period of protective effect

The protective effect of the herbicide lasts 30 days or more after treatment.
