Bagira Gold 120
Appointment
Selective systemic post-emergence graminicide for the control of a wide range of annual cereal weeds in spring and winter wheat crops. Due to the presence of an antidote, the drug provides high safety for cultivated plants and allows effective control of oatmeal, millet and bristle even at late stages of processing.
Technical data sheet
Active ingredients: phenoxaprop-P-ethyl (120 g/l) + mefenpyr-diethyl (33 g/l)
Chemical class: aryloxyphenoxypropionates + pyrazolines (antidote)
Formulation: emulsion concentrate (c.e.)
Packaging: 5 l canister
Advantages and mechanism of action
1. Guaranteed safety (antidote effect)
The presence of mefenpyr-diethyl in the composition accelerates the degradation of the herbicide in wheat tissues, without affecting its activity in weeds.
The result: high selectivity makes it possible to apply maximum consumption rates without the risk of crop suppression, growth retardation, or phytotoxicity.
2. The rapid cessation of competition
The systemic action of phenoxaprop-P-ethyl blocks the biosynthesis of fatty acids at the growth points of grass weeds.
The result: weeds stop competing with wheat for resources in the first hours after processing, providing the crop with optimal conditions for development.
3. Long period of control
The drug protects crops from annual cereal weeds during a significant growing season.
The result: the purity of crops is maintained for 3-4 weeks, which is critically important for the formation of high yield potential.
Rules of application
Spring and winter wheat
Consumption rate: 0.45–0.75 l/ha
Objects: annual cereal weeds (oatmeal, millet, bristleweed)
Application phase: vegetation (from 2 leaves to tillering)
Method of application: ground spraying of vegetative plants.
Agronomist's Advice: safety and effectiveness
Total control on wheat: for simultaneous cleaning of fields from cereal and dicotyledonous weeds in one pass, a tank mixture with herbicide BARON GOLD, V.D.G. (tribenuron-methyl, 750 g/kg) is recommended. This ensures that the culture is completely free from competition.
Health and protection: in the tillering phase of wheat, it is advisable to combine graminicide treatment with disease protection using the fungicide TANDEM PRO, K.K.R. (propiconazole, 200 g/l + tebuconazole, 200 g/l). This combination helps to maintain the cleanliness of the field and the high sanitary background of crops.
Activation in difficult conditions: when processing overgrown weeds or in conditions of drought, it is recommended to add the adjuvant SYLVESTER (organo-silicone) at a rate of 0.025–0.05 l/ha. This accelerates the penetration of active substances through the dense cuticle of weeds and reduces the risk of precipitation.
Window of application: although the drug retains selectivity until the end of tillering, the maximum effect is achieved when treating weeds in the early stages of development (2-3 leaves). This allows you to save more moisture and nutrients for the crop.
Compatibility: the drug mixes well with most fungicides and insecticides. Mixing with drugs with a strong alkaline reaction should be avoided. Before preparing the working solution, it is recommended to perform a physico-chemical compatibility test.
