The preparative form
The emulsion concentrate.
Active substance
Phenoxaprop-p-ethyl, 120 g/l + mefenpyr-diethyl, (antidote) 33 g/l.
Mechanism of action
Bagheera Gold 120, K.E. is a combined herbicide consisting of two active substances (phenoxaprop-p-ethyl imefenpyr-diethyl), each of which has its own special mechanism of action.
Due to the hydrolysis of the active substance, free phenoxaprop acid quickly appears in the plant. It inhibits the biosynthesis of fatty acids, as a result of which the further formation of cell membranes in the growth zones of grass weeds stops. This leads to the death of grass weeds. Due to the inhibition of fatty acid biosynthesis, further changes occur in cereal weeds. These include a decrease in the chlorophyll content of thylakoid membranes, as well as an increase in the content of soluble sugars and free amino acids in the growth tissues of the stem axis of the grass weed.
Compatibility with other drugs
Bagheera Gold 120, K.E. - It is allowed to combine with other pesticides.
