Mechanism of action
Phenomen, S.E. is a combined herbicide consisting of two active substances (florasulama and 2,4-D), each of which has its own special mechanism of action.
Florasulam inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is a key enzyme in the biosynthesis of branched chain amino acids such as leucine, isoleucine, and valine.
2,4-D is an auxin-
type phenoxy compound that
It mimics the action of auxin, a natural growth hormone, and prevents the growth of weed cells. The drug only affects weeds that have already sprouted by the time of treatment.
Methods and timing of administration of the drug
Phenomenon, S.E. - the herbicide can be used in tank mixtures with preparations based on sulfonylureas, dicamba, carfentrazone ethyl, isoproturone, as well as with fungicides and insecticides.

Phytotoxicity
Phytotoxic for broad-leaved (dicotyledonous) cultivated plants. Cereal plants, including grain crops, are resistant to the herbicide.
