Mechanism action

The composition of the combined fungicide AKROBAT MC includes two active substances: dimethomorph and mancoceb. They prevent the development of the pathogen both on the surface of the plant and in its tissues, providing a long-term preventive and therapeutic effect. Dimethomorph inhibits the formation of fungal cell walls at all stages of their development. Dimetomorph kills the mycelium fungus that has penetrated the plant within 1-2 days after infection. This guarantees success in the case of an external disease that has started but has not manifested itself. Dimethomorph significantly reduces the sporulation of the fungus Plasmopara viticola and the formation of sexual structures-zoospores. Mancoceb prevents the germination of fungal spores. It is an inhibitor of several fungal spore enzymes at the same time, so the emergence of resistance to it is practically excluded.

Dimethomorph and contact mancoceb prevent the development of pathogens of phytophthora both on the surface of the plant and in its tissues, which gives a long-term prophylactic and therapeutic effect from the moment of application.

Recommendations for use

• Potatoes. AKROBAT MC flexibly fits into the strategy of combating late blight. The first prophylactic treatment should be carried out both in order to control the hidden (latent) infection and in order to achieve a high protective effect, already at the early stages of potato development (two phases of root shrinkage in the rows) or according to the recommendations of the signaling points. Further processing is carried out with an interval of 10-14 days during the period of active plant growth;
• Vinograd. Preferable preventive treatments during the period of active growth of plants (the beginning of flowering and ripening of berries in grapes) with an interval of 10-14 days;
• Onions, cucumbers. Vinograd. Preferable preventive treatments during the period of active plant growth with an interval of 10-14 days.
