Intended Use

A highly selective post-emergence herbicide for treating barley and wheat against a wide range of grassy weeds.

Mechanism of Action

A systemic herbicide. The product is absorbed by the above-ground parts of the plant within 1–3 hours after application. At the biochemical level, the herbicide inhibits fatty acid biosynthesis in the meristematic tissues of grassy weeds, preventing cell membrane formation, which stops growth and leads to the death of the grassy weeds.

Formulation

Oil-in-water emulsion (EW) containing 69 g/L of fenoxaprop-P-ethyl and 75 g/L of mefenpyr-diethyl (safener).

Method of Application

Spraying on actively growing weeds from the 2-leaf stage to the end of tillering (regardless of the growth stage of the crop).

Speed of Action (Notes)

After application, it rapidly penetrates the leaves of weed plants and practically eliminates the competition of annual grassy weeds with the crop within 24 hours. Complete death of sensitive weeds occurs within 10–15 days after spraying, depending on the prevailing weather conditions.

At least 3 years from the date of manufacture.
