Mechanism of action

Famoxadone, a contact component of THANOS, binds firmly to the cuticle and is stored in the waxy layer of the leaves. This ensures the drug's resistance to washout. When contacted with a leaf surface treated with THANOS, zoospores die within 2 seconds.
