Purpose

Reduces the risk of lodging by shortening internodes and increasing the strength of the stem and the evenness of the stem.

Mechanism of action

Chlormequat chloride inhibits the synthesis of gibberellin, a hormone responsible for growth processes, which leads to more intensive development of tillering shoots and an increase in the mechanical strength of the straw while reducing its length. The result of this effect is a reduction in the length of the culm and improved development of the mechanical tissues of the stem.

Recommendations for use

The most appropriate use of Tse Tse Tse 750 is under conditions of intensive cultivation of grain crops against the background of the use of high doses of nitrogen fertilizers, as well as in conditions of sufficient moisture. Apply in the mid-tillering phase – the beginning of booting (25 - 31 VSN);

Use Tse Tse Tse 750 if the following factors are present:

- intensive technology for the production of grain crops – 15 c/ha;

- high seeding rate and stem density of more than 500 pcs. plants per 1 m;

- high background of mineral fertilizers with a predominance of nitrogen;

- wet and warm weather;

- growing a variety prone to lodging;

- resource-saving technology.

The effectiveness of treatments is affected by temperature. The best effect is achieved at 18 – 22 C.
