ЭСТЕРОН 600
PURPOSE
Herbicide for economical control of major dicotyledonous weeds, including perennials, as well as herbicide-resistant sulfonylureas (pigweed, blue cornflower and some others, as well as Clearfield® and ExpressSun™ sunflower and rapeseed hybrids).
MECHANISM OF ACTION AND FEATURES OF APPLICATION
Disrupts cell division in sensitive weed species by acting as an auxin-like growth inhibitor.
Speed of action: Esterone™ 600 penetrates within an hour and actively spreads throughout the plant (including roots) to growth points. The effect of ether on weeds (visual effect) appears after 12-18 hours, which is 2-4 times faster than when using amine salts and 10 times faster than when using sulfonylureas. Due to the rapid penetration of ether into the plant, the drug is not washed off by rain an hour after treatment. Esterone™ 600 is highly selective towards grain crops.
Features of application: Esteron™ 600 shows maximum effect when treating actively growing weeds, but differs from herbicides based on the amine salt 2,4-D in that it is highly effective even in adverse conditions (drought or cool weather). The effect of Esteron™600 appears already at 5-7°C. Esteron™600 is characterized by low volatility due to the absolute chemical purity of the ester (99.8%), which eliminates its loss during use. It also quickly decomposes in the soil and has no restrictions for crop rotation. On cereal grain crops, tank mixtures of Esteron™ 600 with herbicides from the sulfonylurea class are possible. At the same time, the spectrum of action is expanded and overgrown weeds are more effectively controlled. The consumption rate of Esteron™ 600 in the mixture is reduced to 0.3-0.6 l/ha. On corn, Esteron™600 is used alone or in a tank mixture with herbicides based on rimsulfuron and nicosulfuron when infesting corn crops with thistle, thistle, field bindweed, ragweed, white pigweed, black nightshade and some other types of weeds. The consumption rate of Esteron™600 in the mixture is reduced to 0.3-0.6 l/ha.
