Purpose
Insecticide with intestinal action against caterpillars of lepidopteran pests for the protection of fruit and industrial crops.
Advantages
- Systemic-translaminar larvicide against a wide range of lepidopteran pests;
- Long-term protection up to 3-4 weeks;
- Fully compatible with the biomethod (IPM);
- Rain resistance;
- Photostability;
- Operates in a wide temperature range from +10C to +40C.
Mechanism of action
Flubendiamide, an active substance from the chemical class of phthalic acid diamides, activates ryanodione receptors that regulate the neuromuscular activity of insects (RyR). Ryanodine receptors regulate intracellular calcium channels (Ca2+), specialized in the rapid and massive transfer of calcium ions, and control insect muscle contraction. However, after the use of flubendiamide, the ryanodione receptor remains open, which leads to the uncontrolled release of calcium ions. As a result, the insect immediately stops feeding, paralysis occurs, which leads to death.
Preparative form
Suspension concentrate (SC) containing 480 g/l flubendiamide.
Methods of application
Spraying during the growing season. Working fluid consumption is 200-1200 l/ha, depending on the crop. Fruit: treatments are carried out against the apple borer and the leaf roller complex in the “ovary up to 1.5 cm” phase, then the second treatment is carried out in the “Growth, filling and ripening” phase against the 2-3rd generation of the berry. Rotation with the drug “Decis”, “Expert”, “Calypso” is required. Grapes: Belt is used against leaf rollers and cotton bollworm in the “closing of bunches” phase, the 2nd treatment in the “full ripeness” phase.
Period of protective action
The biological effect lasts 3-4 weeks depending on the type of pest and weather conditions.
