Mechanism of action

Dual system distribution. Spirotetramat is an insecticide that can be distributed up and down the phloem, penetrating into hard-to-reach parts of the plant, using the movement of assimilates to those parts of the plant that need energy (new growth, roots, fruits). Transport in the phloem occurs both along the ascending (acropetal) and descending pathways (basipetal).

Preparative form

Suspension concentrate (SC) containing 120 g/l spirotetramate and imidacloprid.

Methods of application

Do not use if the plants are under stress (cold period), since the movement of the d.v. will be slow, therefore efficiency will decrease. Optimal application temperatures are +15-35 C. Apply only at the beginning of pest infestation, when there is sufficient leaf mass of the crop.

Validity periods

The drug has a contact-systemic effect, which leads to the death of pests during the first hours after treatment, reaching maximum effectiveness on 7-21 days.

Period of protective action

The biological effect lasts 3-4 weeks depending on the type of pest and weather conditions.

Best before date

At least 2 years from the date of manufacture.
