Mechanism of action

Maximus, v.r. – clopyralid is a typical representative of the group of auxin-like herbicides that do not have a clearly defined site of action. After penetration into the plant, it disrupts growth processes, causing abnormal growth of the growing point, thickening, twisting, deformation of stems and leaves, and cracks in the stems. Complete death of weeds occurs 10 - 15 days after treatment.

Terms of use

To achieve maximum effectiveness, the product must be applied using well-regulated equipment and applied evenly to the leaf surface. It is recommended to use slot sprayers that provide an average droplet size when spraying. After using the product, rinse the sprayer and related equipment thoroughly with water. Temperature for using the drug: from +8 to +25°C. Avoid using the drug if you expect frost the night after treatment or immediately after it. Spraying should be carried out at the time of active weed growth in the phase of 2–10 leaves for annuals and 10–15 cm (rosette) for perennial dicotyledonous weeds.

Period of protective action

The protective effect of the herbicide lasts 30 days or more after treatment.
