KINTO DUO
Intended Use
A fungicidal seed treatment for cereal crops offering unmatched efficacy against root rots.
Advantages
Comprehensive control: excellent control of the root rot complex (Fusarium and Helminthosporium) and snow molds;
High performance: high germination and overwintering survival rates;
Unrivaled efficacy: unmatched performance under extreme cereal growing conditions (cereal-heavy crop rotations, reduced tillage, high soil-borne fungal infection pressure).
Active Ingredients
Prochloraz (60 g/L) + triticonazole (20 g/L)
Formulation
Suspension Concentrate (SC) / Flowable Concentrate for Seed Treatment (FS)
Mechanism of Action
Prochloraz ensures the destruction of infection located in the seed coat and aleurone layer. Due to the ability of prochloraz to partially redistribute into the soil layer surrounding the treated seed, effective control of major soil-borne pathogens is achieved. Triticonazole effectively suppresses infection both on the surface and deep inside the seed, which is particularly important for controlling loose smut and other seed-borne pathogens.
Directions for Application
Use KINTO Duo as one of the most reliable methods for cereal crop protection in the most challenging situations: high crop rotation intensity (retention of pathogens on crop residues and root rot pathogens in the soil); use of minimum tillage or no-till practices (accumulation of root and crown rot pathogens in the soil).
Quality application is achievable under the following conditions: use of seed cleaned of dust and impurities, which guarantees proper coverage of the treated surface and reduces the risk of seed dress loss; the volume of the working solution when applying KINTO Duo should be no less than 8–10 liters per 1 ton of seeds. The water volume accounts for 8.0–7.5 L, respectively.
