GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Magnum is a systemic post—emergence herbicide from the sulfonylurea class, designed to effectively control weeds in grain crops. The drug penetrates weeds through leaves and roots, spreads rapidly through the plant and inhibits its further development.

Due to the combination of two active ingredients, the herbicide effectively affects sensitive weeds in the early growth phases, disrupting key metabolic processes and stopping cell division. This ensures a rapid cessation of the growth of weeds and their subsequent death.

Magnum has a systemic effect. The drug penetrates into weeds through leaves and roots, is absorbed by them and moves through the plant through the xylem and phloem.

The active ingredients inhibit the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which blocks the synthesis of essential amino acids — leucine, isoleucine and valine. As a result, cell division stops, weed growth stops and their subsequent death occurs.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Spraying of crops in the tillering phase of the crop — before the formation of the second internode, as well as in the early phases of weed growth

Winter crops are processed in spring

If it is necessary to replant the cultivated areas, it is allowed to sow only grain crops.

THE TIMING OF THE EFFECT

Slowing down the growth of weeds begins within a few hours after ingestion of the drug

The first visible symptoms during the period of active growth appear after 2-3 days.

At low temperatures or drought, the manifestation of the action may occur later.
