Purpose:
a combined contact and systemic fungicide to protect crops from a range of diseases.

Active ingredients:
mancozeb, 640 g/kg and metalaxyl, 80 g/kg.

Preparative form:
wettable powder.

Characteristics of active ingredients:
metalaxyl belongs to phenylamides, a class of acylalanines and has a systemic effect.
Mancozeb belongs to the class of dithiocarbamates and exhibits contact activity.

Range of action:
recommended for the fight against diseases caused by downy mildew fungi - late blight and macrosporiosis of potatoes, late blight and alternaria of tomatoes, downy mildew of cucumbers and onions, and mildew of grapes.

Mechanism of action:
Metaxil® has a preventive, curative and eradicating contact-systemic effect.

Impact speed:
The first active ingredient of the drug - metalaxyl - penetrates into the plant through leaves and stems within 0.5 -1 hour after treatment, moves acropetally, is able to cure the plant in case of early infection and protects it in the future.
The second active ingredient, mancozeb, enhances the effect by creating a protective layer on the surface of the leaf.

Period of protective action:
Metaxil® provides crop protection from peronospora fungi for 10-14 days from the date of treatment, depending on the infectious background and weather conditions.

Working fluid consumption:
on potatoes - 400 l/ha, open ground cucumbers - 400 - 600, open ground tomatoes - 300 - 500, vineyards - 800 - 1000, onions - 600 - 800 l/ha.
