Mechanism of Action

The systemic property of dimethoate enables penetration into the plant, including growing tissues, ensuring protection for developing plants. The contact property of dimethoate protects the crop from harmful insects during application. The product is absorbed by plant parts and then distributed throughout the plant, mainly acropetally. Sucking insects die from feeding on the plant's sap. High systemic activity and even redistribution of the active ingredient within the plant ensure protection of newly growing parts from harmful insects.

Application Recommendations

• For grain crops: To increase insecticidal effectiveness under high pest pressure, it is recommended to use a tank mix of insecticides BI-58 New (1.0 L/ha) and FASTAC (0.1 L/ha), with the addition of DASH adjuvant (1.0 L/ha) throughout the growing season, but before flowering.
• For cotton: Under high pest pressure and to broaden the spectrum of activity, an effective tank mix includes FASTAC (0.3 L/ha) + BI-58 New (1.0 L/ha).
