BENEVIA, m.d.
Benevia is an innovative insecticide that provides powerful protection against a wide range of chewing and sucking pests, reduces biotic stress, and ensures that crops can maximize their yield potential and obtain the highest quality products.
Properties and benefits of the insecticide Benevia
- rapid cessation of insect feeding after intoxication - preventing the spread of viral diseases by pests;
- reducing stress allows the culture to develop more effectively;
- high selectivity for pollinators and entomophages;
- long period of protective action.
Recommendations for use
The first treatment is recommended to be carried out during the period when mass egg laying of the pest begins or at the beginning of the hatching of the first larvae.
It is recommended to apply in the second half of the growing season when the pest begins to colonize and there is sufficient leaf mass of the plants.
To achieve maximum results, it is recommended to carry out two treatments with an interval of 10-14 days.
It is strictly recommended to monitor the pH of the solution before using Benevia and it should be 5.5-6. If water for spraying with a higher pH requires mandatory acidification of the water, then dissolution of the drug.
To ensure maximum effectiveness against sucking pests, it is recommended to use Benevia together with the adjuvant Kodaside with a concentration of 0.2%.
To prevent the development of resistance, it is imperative to follow the recommendations of IRAC (International Insecticide Anti-Resistance Committee) when treating against caterpillars of lepidopteran pests and other groups of insects.
Group 28 should be applied per season to no more than 30% of all insecticidal treatments on cultivated plants and maintain intervals between blocks of treatments with this mechanism of action of at least 60 days per growing season (for example, after applying Verimark in the seedling department, treatments with Benevia/Coragen are carried out after 60 days).
Recommended Tank Mixes
Benevia is compatible with most pesticides applied at the same time, but it is recommended to test the tank mixture for compatibility in a small amount.
When using tank mixtures of the drug Benevia with drugs in the form of emulsion concentrates, fungicides of the strobilurin class, contact fungicides based on: copper, sulfur, chloratolanil, captan, an adverse effect on the treated crop may be observed.
The use of strobilurin class fungicides with a short interval between treatments (less than 7 days) before or after application of the drug may have an adverse effect on the crop.
