Mechanism of action:

Goal 2E, k.e. - A contact herbicide whose active ingredient, oxyfluorfen, belongs to the diphenylether group. The herbicide acts on weed plants when applied directly to the leaf surface of the plants, or through the soil. When applied to the soil, the herbicide forms a continuous film on its surface, upon contact with which new shoots of weed plants are present with the drug. The active ingredient of the drug, oxyfluorfen, damages the walls of plant cells, which leads to dehydration and tissue death.

Compatibility with other drugs:

If necessary, herbicide Goal 2E, e.g. can be used in mixture with other herbicides (in particular those based on glyphosate and acetochlor). The drug can be used in integrated programs with soil herbicides, in particular when applied to onion crops in fractional application programs. In onion crops, depending on the nature of the weed, to expand the spectrum of action of the herbicide, a mixture with preparations based on fluroxypyru or clopyralid is recommended. If there are cereal weeds in the crops, the drug cannot be mixed with existing anti-cereal herbicides. In the case of using a drug in mixtures, it is also necessary to take into account the regulations for the use of another drug(s), which is added to the mixture (per period, crop, etc.). Before preparing a working solution in a mixture with other drugs, it is recommended to check the physical miscibility of the drugs in a small container.

Preparation and consumption rates of the working solution:

Fill the sprayer tank halfway with water and add the required amount of Goal 2E, e.g. With continuous stirring, fill the sprayer tank completely. To avoid blocking of the sprayers, it is recommended to use clean water to prepare the working solution of the drug. Do not leave the prepared working solution overnight. After finishing working with the product, you must thoroughly clean the sprayer and other related equipment. The consumption rate of the working solution for ground spraying is 300-500 l/ha. It is recommended to use slot nozzles that provide medium or large droplet sizes when spraying. Avoid contact of the drug with the skin and eyes of workers. Do not prepare working fluid near sources of drinking water. Do not spray plants without protective clothing, gloves and goggles. Do not smoke, drink, or eat while working with the drug.
