DUAL GOLD 960, e.g.

Dual Gold 960 EC K.E. is a soil herbicide for protection against annual cereals and certain annual dicotyledonous weeds in plantings of potatoes, seedling tomatoes, tobacco, cabbage, and watermelon crops.

Dual Gold 960 EC k.E. is a selective herbicide that absorbs weed seeds that are germinating. The drug enters cereal weeds through the coleoptile, and into dicotyledonous weeds - through the roots and cotyledons. Thanks to this, the weeds die even before germination. It is not recommended to weed or loosen between rows after applying the herbicide - this will reduce the herbicidal effect. If there is no moisture in the soil, shallow incorporation (with a rake) after applying the herbicide is recommended. The drug is not volatile, so seedlings can be planted even a few days after tillage. The duration of the protective effect is 45-60 days, depending on weather conditions. The drug is classified as low toxic (LD50> 2000 mg/kg). Non-toxic to bees, the environment and beneficial entomofauna.

Application

Measure out the required amount of the drug and dilute it in 5 or 10 liters of water, depending on the infestation and cultivation area (see Table). Depending on the contamination, 100 ml of the drug is treated up to 6 acres. The best effect is achieved when using up to 5 liters of working solution per 1 hundred square meters. Spraying is carried out with a freshly prepared solution in calm weather on carefully prepared soil.

Spraying time: potatoes - spraying the soil after planting before the crop emerges or after the ridges are raised before emergence; watermelons - spraying the soil before sowing or after sowing before emergence; tobacco, tomatoes and cabbage (seedlings only) - spraying the soil before planting seedlings.
