Captora 4.8%, w.r.c.
CAPTORA 4.8% w.r.c. – systemic post-emergence herbicide for IMI sunflower, resistant to herbicides of the imidazoline group, grown according to the Clearfield production system.
Mechanism of action
Effect of the drug CAPTORA 4.8% v.r.c. based on inhibition of the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS). Inhibition of ALS is a catalyst for the biosynthesis of amino acids: valine, leucine and isoleucine. Inhibition of ALS blocks the formation of these amino acids and protein synthesis, which in turn leads to the death of weeds.
Features of application
When using CAPTOR 4.8% v.r.c. Sunflowers should be in the 2-6 true leaf stages. It is not recommended to use the drug before the onset of phase 2 of sunflower leaves.
CAPTORA 4.8% w.r.c. used during the period of active weed growth. To achieve the greatest effectiveness of the herbicide, the development phase of the weed should be taken into account. Cereal weeds should not outgrow 3-5 leaves, dicotyledonous weeds should not outgrow 4-6 leaves, depending on the species. CAPTORA 4.8% w.r.c. It has a soil effect and, when released into the soil, inhibits subsequent waves of weeds.
The herbicide KAPTORA 4.8% w.r.c. should not be used. if the sunflower is under stress.
CAPTORA 4.8% w.r.c. It can only be used by land. The herbicide is not registered for aviation use; aerial application is not recommended.
Avoid blocking application strips during treatments!
The optimal consumption rate of the working solution is 200-400 l/ha. Working fluid consumption is not allowed below 100 l/ha. The sprayer must be adjusted for even application. The flow rate of working fluid should not be reduced with increased crop density and/or with a large amount of plant residues on the soil.
It is not recommended to use CAPTORA 4.8% w.r.c. in tank mixtures with other herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, liquid fertilizers, microfertilizers. The optimal temperature for using the herbicide KAPTORA 4.8% w.r.c. 14°-25°С.
