Mechanism of action

Foramsulfuron belongs to the class of sulfonylureas, and thiencarbazone-methyl belongs to the class of triazolinones. Both active ingredients are inhibitors of the enzyme ALS (acetolactate synthase).

Period of protective action

The herbicide has an effect on weeds present on crops during the spraying period, and also has a soil effect on weeds emerging after treatment in the presence of moisture in the soil. The effect of the drug continues for several weeks after treatment.
