Polo 500 is a non-systemic insectoacaricide with pronounced contact and intestinal action, as well as translaminar, fumigant and ovicidal activity, intended to protect cotton from a complex of pests.

Properties and advantages of insecticide Polo 500

• the active substance (diafenthiuron) is activated under the influence of ultraviolet rays;
• ideal for use on cotton at the end of the season, as it penetrates into the lower layer of the plant due to its fumigant effect;
• completely protects leaves due to high translaminar activity;
• quickly penetrates inside the insect through the cuticle or along with food, instantly stops the transmission of nerve impulses, as a result of which the pest stops feeding and moving, then dies from exhaustion within 1-2 days;
• acts on both adults and larvae, which provides long-lasting and effective control.

Diafenthiuron, which is part of the drug, during decomposition turns into urea (nitrogen fertilizer) and has a stimulating effect on the crop - a pronounced greening effect, and the plants also form larger fruits (boxes). The drug is harmless to beneficial insects.
