Selective systemic cross-spectrum herbicide for the protection of sunflower hybrids resistant to imidazolines (Clearfield system). The drug provides control of a wide range of annual dicotyledonous and cereal weeds, as well as effective suppression of infestation in sunflower crops at key stages of vegetation.

Advantages and mechanism of action

 

1. Blocking vital functions of weeds
The drug inhibits the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which disrupts the synthesis of essential amino acids in sensitive plants.
The result: weed growth stops in the first hours after treatment, which reduces competition with sunflower for moisture, nutrition and light.

2. Long period of protective action
The combination of the two active ingredients forms a long-lasting protective effect on both vegetating weeds and subsequent waves of clogging.
The result: the protective effect persists for 50-70 days, allowing one treatment to maintain the purity of crops for a long period.

3. Technological flexibility and selectivity
A wide range of actions is an effective solution against dicotyledonous, grass weeds and infestations.
Selectivity — high softness to sunflower hybrids of the Clearfield system in compliance with the regulations.
Reliability — systemic action ensures efficiency even with incomplete coating of weeds with a working solution.

Agronomist's Advice: safety and effectiveness

 

Infection control: the drug is especially effective in fields with a high risk of developing a top. The treatment of 4-6 sunflower leaves in the phase makes it possible to contain the development of the parasite in a timely manner.

Optimal application window: the maximum effect is achieved when processing vegetating weeds in the early stages of development, approximately 2-4 leaves in dicotyledonous species.

Working in conditions of drought: to improve the penetration through the wax coating of weeds, it is recommended to add the adjuvant SYLVESTER (organo-silicone) at a rate of 0.025–0.05 l/ha.

Consistent protection: the protection system can be combined with the insecticide IZUMI, S.K. (thiamethoxam, 141 g/l + lambda-cyhalothrin, 106 g/l). Mixing with organophosphate preparations is not recommended.

Crop rotation planning: taking into account the duration of action of the drug, restrictions on subsequent crops must be observed. Wheat is recommended to be sown no earlier than 4 months later, corn and barley — after 9 months.
