Selective soil herbicide for the destruction of a wide range of annual dicotyledonous and some grass weeds. The drug forms a protective barrier in sunflower, potato and carrot crops, reducing the competition of weeds with the crop in the early stages of development.

Technical data sheet

Active ingredient: promethrin (500 g/l)
Chemical Class: Triazines
Preparation form: suspension concentrate (S.K.)
Packing: 5 l canister

Advantages and mechanism of action

1. Double penetration path
Promethrin is absorbed by seedlings, roots, and partially by the leaves of weeds.
The result: weed control is ensured both at the time of germination and in the early stages after germination.

2. Prolonged soil barrier
The preparation creates a stable protective shield in the upper layer of the soil.
The result: the purity of crops is maintained for 30-90 days, which reduces the need for early insurance treatments.

3. Safety and flexibility in crop rotation
The active substance decomposes in the soil during the season in compliance with the application regulations.
The result: the risk of aftereffects on next year's crops is reduced.

Agronomist's Council: strategy and safety

Creating an effective soil screen: the maximum result is achieved on moist, leveled and finely lumpy soil. The presence of large amounts of plant residues may reduce the effectiveness of the drug.

Moisture management: in arid conditions, after application, light sealing to a depth of 2-3 cm may be advisable to ensure contact of the active substance with the weed germination zone.

Application features on carrots: the preparation is suitable both for pre-emergence application and for processing in the phase of 1-2 leaves of the crop. At the same time, it is important to take into account the waiting period before implementation — 4 months.

Uniformity of distribution: to improve the coverage of the soil surface and work on crop residues, it is possible to use SYLVESTER adjuvant at a rate of 0.025–0.05 l/ha.

Choice of the consumption rate: lower rates are advisable on light soils, higher ones on heavy loams and soils with a high humus content.
