Active substance
540 g/l of glyphosate acid in the form of potassium salt.
Mechanism of action
It has a systemic effect, penetrates into weeds through leaves and other green parts and is transported through all organs of weeds, reaching their root system. It blocks the synthesis of aromatic amino acids, which leads to damage to growth points and complete death of aboveground and underground organs. It does not work on seeds.
Methods and timing of drug use
Grand Extra 540, V.R. - The drug is compatible in tank mixtures with salts and esters of 2,4-D, MCPA, dicamba and other herbicides. It is recommended to check the mixture for compatibility before use. To increase the effectiveness and speed of weed suppression, it can be used in a mixture with other herbicides and nitrogen fertilizers (ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulfate).

The period of protective action
It acts until the second wave of annual weeds appears or until the regrowth of perennial ones. In the case of treatment of woody and shrubby vegetation, the duration of the protective effect extends to the following year.
Phytotoxicity
Grand Extra 540 is phytotoxic to all plant objects in contact with vegetating aboveground organs. Translocation of glyphosate into the plant or seeds through the soil does not occur.
Therefore, cultivated plants can be planted or sown on treated areas 2-4 days after application of the drug.
