Highly effective two-component systemic defoliant for pre-harvest removal of cotton leaves. The drug forcibly triggers the fall of foliage and accelerates the natural ripening process of the pods.

Advantages and mechanism of action

 

1. Instant start of the process
The combination of thidiazuron and diuron begins to act immediately after hitting the leaf, disrupting physiological processes and blocking photosynthesis.
The result: the restructuring of metabolic processes begins in the first hours after processing, which makes it possible to speed up the preparation of crops for harvesting before the onset of autumn cold weather.

2. Uniform defoliation without "debris"
Leaves fall off green, without drying on the petiole, which ensures a cleaner preparation of the field for harvesting.
The result: the fiber remains clean, without dry leaf crumbs, which helps to preserve the high quality of cotton and its market value.

3. Control of secondary growth
The drug suppresses the activity of dormant kidneys and reduces the risk of regrowth of the vegetative mass.
The result: the field remains clean until cleaning, reduces the wear of machinery and the risk of green matter entering the bunker.

Agronomist's Council: strategy and safety

 

Jewelry accuracy in terms of timing: processing should begin strictly when 40-45% of the boxes are opened. Earlier application may lead to a shortage of seed mass.

Temperature regime: at an average daily temperature above +20°C, a norm of 0.1 l/ha is recommended. When it gets cold, especially if night temperatures drop below +15 °C, it is advisable to work at a rate of 0.2 liters / ha to compensate for the slow metabolism of plants.

Coating quality: for better penetration of active substances into dense cotton crops, the addition of SYLVESTER adjuvant (organo-silicone) at a rate of 0.05 l/ha is recommended.

Water regime: 10-14 days before defoliation, it is recommended to stop watering in order to accelerate the natural aging of plants and increase the efficiency of treatment.
