A powerful contact desiccant designed for pre-harvest drying of crops. The preparation ensures fast and uniform maturation of seeds, facilitates mechanized harvesting and helps reduce crop losses in adverse weather conditions.

Advantages and mechanism of action

 

1. Fast contact effect
Diquat is rapidly absorbed by the green parts of plants and destroys cell membranes.
The result: the drying process begins within a few hours after processing, and the harvest is ready in 7-12 days.

2. Reducing losses and maintaining crop quality
The drug promotes a more uniform ripening of the crop and helps to reduce the risks associated with prolonged harvesting.
The result: cleaning is faster and with less loss from shedding, as well as lower costs for subsequent drying of products.

3. Technological flexibility and security
The application window is applied during the pre—harvest period when the physiological maturity of the seeds is reached.
Purity of the crop — the drug has no systemic effect and does not accumulate in the seeds.
Rain resistance — after treatment, it is quickly fixed on the plant surface and is resistant to precipitation.

Method of application: ground spraying of crops during the pre-harvest period.

 

Agronomist's Advice: safety and effectiveness

 

For a high-quality coating of a thick stem, the addition of SYLVESTER adjuvant (organo–silicone) at a rate of 0.025-0.05 l/ha is recommended. This improves the retention of the working solution and the uniformity of drying.

It is advisable to desiccate potatoes 10-12 days before harvesting. This helps to roughen the peel of the tubers and reduces the risk of mechanical damage and the development of rot during storage.

Maximum effectiveness is achieved when applied in the evening or in cloudy weather, when conditions for uniform action of the drug improve.

To prepare the working solution, it is recommended to use clean water without organic impurities and sludge, as diquat binds quickly to suspended particles and may lose activity.
