Mechanism of action
Cruiser, 20% VC - The action of imidacloprid is based on interference with the transmission of impulses through the nervous system of insects. Like the natural signal-transmitting acetylcholine, imidacloprid excites certain nerve cells by interacting with a receptor protein.
But unlike acetylcholine, which is rapidly degraded by the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, imidacloprid degrades slowly or not at all. The latter property of the product leads to the breakdown of the nervous system of insects and, as a result, to the death of the treated individuals.
Methods and timing of drug use
It is compatible with many insecticides and fungicides of the pyrethroids, azoles, and strobilurines class.Before preparing a working solution from a mixture of drugs, it is recommended to check their physical compatibility in a small container. Follow the regulations for the use of all preparations of the mixture.
Advantages of the drug
• Systemic action: It affects insects that have not been treated and feed
on untreated parts of the plant.
• Fast initial activity from the moment of processing. The pests begin
to die within a few hours
• The CRUISER, unlike pyrethroids, does not reduce efficiency at high
air temperatures

From 15 to 30 days, depending on the type of pest and weather conditions.
Phytotoxicity
If the recommended application regulations are followed, the Cruiser, 20% VC is not phytotoxic for regulated crops.
