A specialized acaricide is an insecticide for the protection of soybeans and cotton from a complex of spider mites. The drug has a translaminar effect and provides pest control, including on the underside of the leaf.

Technical data sheet

Active ingredient: abamectin (18 g/l)
Chemical class: avermectins
Preparation form: emulsion concentrate (c.e.)
Packing: 1 l canister

Advantages and mechanism of action

1. Translaminar action
Abamectin penetrates into the tissue of the leaf and is distributed inside the leaf blade.
The result: the control of ticks on the underside of the sheet is ensured, where the working solution does not always get directly.

2. Rapid cessation of pest feeding
The drug affects the nervous system of ticks and disrupts their motor activity.
The result: the damage to the crop stops shortly after treatment, and the death of the pest occurs within 3-5 days.

3. Selectivity and technological safety
If the application regulations are followed, the drug has a relatively mild effect on beneficial entomophages and does not create restrictions on crop rotation.
The result: the product can be integrated into integrated protection schemes, taking into account the requirements of technology and application conditions.

Agronomist's Council: strategy and safety

Control of non-living forms: since the mites are localized mainly on the underside of the leaf, the drug is especially effective in technologies where translaminar action and deep penetration into the leaf tissue are required.

Coating activation: to improve surface wetting and work on pubescent or waxy leaves, the addition of SYLVESTER adjuvant at a rate of 0.025–0.05 l/ha is recommended.

Tank mixtures: in cotton protection technologies, it is possible to combine with NUKER PRO, and on soybeans against related pests — with a PUNISHER, with mandatory preliminary verification of physico-chemical compatibility.

Water pH control: when using water with a pH above 7.5, the effectiveness of abamectin may decrease, therefore, acidifiers of the working solution should be used if necessary.

Temperature regime: it is recommended to carry out treatments in the evening. At high air temperature and intense sunlight, the stability of the active substance on the leaf surface decreases.
