Highly selective systemic post-emergence graminicide for the protection of spring wheat crops from annual cereal weeds. Due to the combination of active ingredients, the drug provides reliable control of fescue, bristleweed and millet-like weeds with high selectivity to culture.

Advantages and mechanism of action

 

1. The synergy of active ingredients
The combination of active ingredients from the group of acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) inhibitors blocks the biosynthesis of fatty acids at the growth points of grass weeds.
The result: weed growth stops in the first hours after treatment, and complete death occurs after 10-15 days.

2. Effectiveness against fescue and overgrown weeds
The drug remains highly active against fescue, bristleweed and millet weeds, including later stages of development.
The result: reliable control of weeds is ensured even with delayed treatment within the scope of the application regulations.

3. High selectivity to culture
The presence of the antidote kloquintocet-mexil accelerates the detoxification of the herbicidal load in the wheat plant.
The result: the risk of phytotoxicity and stunting of crop growth is reduced if the recommended application dates are met.

Agronomist's Advice: strategy and compatibility

 

Culture restriction: the drug is intended for use on spring wheat and is not used on barley.

Overgrown oatmeal: when processing in the later phases of weed development, it is recommended to use the upper limit of the norm — 0.5 l/ha — and add the SYLVESTER adjuvant at a rate of 0.025–0.05 l/ha.

Antagonism in tank mixtures: when mixed with herbicides against dicotyledonous weeds, especially based on 2,4-D and dicamba, the effectiveness against cereals may decrease.

Optimal strategy: for maximum processing results, it is better to split. First, ZIONIS is applied, then 5-7 days later, treatment is carried out against broad-leaved weeds.

Water quality: When using hard water, it is recommended to add water conditioner or ammonium sulfate to maintain the stability and activity of the drug.
