Raizen
Appointment
Highly concentrated two-component systemic herbicide for the control of a wide range of annual and some perennial dicotyledonous weeds in spring wheat and barley crops. The drug is enhanced to control the bindweed and other hard-to-root objects.
Technical data sheet
Active ingredients: tribenuron-methyl (500 g/kg) + tifensulfuron-methyl (250 g/kg)
Chemical class: sulfonylureas
Preparation form: water-dispersible granules (VDG)
Packing: 0.5 kg canister
Advantages and mechanism of action
1. High concentration of active substances
The drug contains a high concentration of active ingredients in each gram of the product.
The result: application is possible at low flow rates, which simplifies logistics, storage and preparation of the working solution.
2. Enhanced control of the bindweed
Tifensulfuron-methyl expands the spectrum of action of the drug and increases its effectiveness against problematic dicotyledonous weeds, including field loach.
The result: bindweed growth is suppressed and the risk of its negative impact on crop development and harvesting is reduced.
3. Rapid cessation of weed growth
The active ingredients inhibit the ALS enzyme, which disrupts cell division and further development of sensitive weeds.
The result: weeds quickly stop competing with crops for moisture, nutrition, and light.
Rules of application
Spring wheat, barley
Object: dicotyledonous weeds
Consumption rate: 15-25 g/ha
Application phase: tillering – exit into the tube
Limitation: the drug is not used on sunflower seeds.
Agronomist's Council: strategy and safety
Working in difficult conditions: when processing overgrown weeds or in conditions of moisture deficiency, it is advisable to use the upper limit of the norm — 25 g/ha.
Convolvulus control: to enhance the effect against perennial convolvulus during the tillering phase of cereals, it can be used in a tank mixture with 2,4-D ether at a rate of 0.3–0.4 l/ha.
The need for an adjuvant: the use of high-quality surfactants is an important condition for the effective operation of the drug, especially for weeds with a pronounced waxy coating.
Temperature regime: it is optimal to carry out treatments at a temperature of +12...+25°C. It is not recommended to apply the drug to crops under stress.
Crop rotation: if the application regulations are followed, the drug decomposes in the soil during the season and does not create significant restrictions for next year's crops.
