Mechanism of action

The active substance imazapyr inhibits the synthesis of the enzyme acetohydroxy acid, which is responsible for the synthesis of aliphatic amino acids, and disrupts DNA synthesis. The drug "Grader" easily penetrates the plant through leaves and roots, moves through both phloem and xylem, and accumulates in growing young tissues. Treated plants stop growing and chlorosis appears (primarily of young leaves). Subsequently, chlorosis turns into tissue necrosis and plant death occurs.

Methods of application

Spraying crops in the early stages of weed growth (2-4 leaves) and 4-5 true leaves of the crop.

Duration of effect manifestation (notes)

The first signs of the effect of the drug "Grader" are observed 7-14 days after treatment. Complete death of herbaceous vegetation occurs within 1-2 months, and of trees and shrubs - within 2-3 months after application.
