ГУЛЛИВЕР

ГУЛЛИВЕР

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Gulliver is a post—emergence herbicide from the sulfonylurea class designed to control sensitive weeds in rice crops. The drug acts effectively on cereals, sedges and other types of weeds, quickly stopping their growth and reducing competition with the crop for nutrition, moisture and light.

The herbicide is especially effective when applied to actively vegetating weeds in the early stages of development. Already in the first hours after treatment, the growth of sensitive species stops, and the complete death of weeds occurs over the following weeks.

KEY ADVANTAGES

Rapid stop of weed growth after treatment

It is effective against cereals, sedge and other sensitive weeds.

Reduces competition with rice in the first hours after application

Systemic action with movement to the growth points

High efficiency with early application

Suitable for use in rice crops

THE PREPARATIVE FORM

Water-dispersible granules (EDG)

CHEMICAL CLASS

Sulfonylureas

mechanism of action

After application, Gulliver is quickly absorbed by weeds and moves through their tissues to the growth points. The active substance blocks the biosynthesis of essential amino acids valine and isoleucine, as a result of which the growth of sensitive weeds stops after 4-6 hours.

The appearance of visible symptoms after 3-7 days is associated with the specific mechanism of action of the drug. In hedgehogs, growth arrest and chlorosis of leaves are observed, tubers and other sedge weeds turn brown, and in other sensitive species, chlorosis and a change in leaf color to anthocyanin or reddish are noted.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Spraying of crops in the phase from 2-4 to 6-8 real leaves of the crop

Weed treatment — in the early growth phases, 2-4 leaves

THE TIMING OF THE EFFECT

Weed growth stops within 2-3 hours after application

The first visible symptoms appear after 3-7 days.

Complete weed death occurs in 20-30 days.

⚠️ NOTE

Maximum effectiveness is achieved when treating weeds in the early stages of development, when they are most sensitive to the action of the drug.
