Purpose

Selective, systemic, broad-spectrum herbicide for control of dicotyledonous and cereal weeds on potatoes, tomatoes, carrots and soybeans.

Mechanism of action

Systemic herbicide. Penetrates into the plant mainly through the roots and is redistributed to the above-ground part, but can also penetrate through the leaf surface. The mechanism of action is based on inhibition of photosynthetic electron transport in photoreaction II (Hill reaction). Metribuzin is easily absorbed by the roots and seedlings of plants, but can also penetrate through the leaf surface. Moves acropetally.

Preparative form

Suspension concentrate containing 600 g/l metribuzin.

Methods of application

Spraying the soil before planting seedlings.

The herbicidal effect appears after 7-14 days depending on weather and soil conditions.
