Mechanism of action

The active ingredient of Zernomax quickly, within an hour after treatment, penetrates the plant. The ether form allows 2,4-D acid to penetrate the leaf cuticle very well. Then it spreads through the phloem and xylem, accumulates in meristem tissues (growth points), and subsequently in newly formed vegetative organs.

Duration of effect manifestation (notes)

Weed growth stops within the first day after spraying. The first visible symptoms of herbicidal action are observed approximately 14 - 18 hours after treatment (for comparison: for 2,4-D salts - usually after 2 days, for sulfonylureas - on average after 5 - 7 days).
