Mechanism of action

Imazamox is absorbed by leaves and roots and inhibits the synthesis of a number of amino acids. Bentazone irreversibly blocks photosynthetic electron transport, as a result of which CO2 assimilation is interrupted, and the plant dies after stopping growth. The herbicide has enhanced biological effectiveness. The improved formulation of the working solution, thanks to its use in conjunction with DAS, makes it possible to more effectively combat high levels of crop contamination. An important factor determining the effectiveness of a herbicide is its absorption rate, which affects the time of weed death. The strong hairiness and thick layer of weed cuticle prevents the penetration of the working solution, reducing the effectiveness of the herbicide. In addition, different leaf shapes and angles of attachment in cereal and dicotyledonous weeds retain the herbicide on the surface differently.

Recommendations for use

Do not cover or carry out inter-row cultivations for 2-4 weeks after treatment, so as not to disturb the herbicide screen;
It is not recommended to use the herbicide in mixtures with liquid fertilizers and microelements;
Products from the imidazolinone group should be used on one field no more than once every 3 years;
The general rule for using COROUM in registered consumption rates when mixed with DASH surfactant: you should focus on a concentration of 0.5% of the working fluid consumption rate.
