Mechanism of action

Thiamethoxam has an effect on the nervous system of insects. The movement of nerve signals passing between nerve endings is blocked by it. This leads to the cessation of feeding by insects, and consequently to their death. This mechanism of action eliminates the development of cross-resistance to this product. Applied to the seeds, the insecticidal protectant quickly rises up the plant, repelling the attacks of early soil-dwelling and leaf pests from the inside. By thus promoting the healthy and vigorous development of the crop, it lays the foundation for a future rich harvest.
