Purpose

Combined contact-system insecticidal disinfectant for the protection of rapeseed.

Mechanism of action

Due to its systemic properties, the drug penetrates the seeds, and then into the root system and spreads throughout the plant as it grows. At a biochemical level, clothianidin prolongs the opening of sodium channels in the insect's nervous system. In this case, the transmission of the nerve impulse is blocked, resulting in the death of the insect from nervous overexcitation.

Suspension concentrate containing 400 g/l clothianidin and 80 g/l beta-cyfluthrin.

Methods of application

Seed treatment. Before use, MODESTO is mixed with the required amount of water. It is recommended to treat seeds at the rate of 12.5 liters of the drug and 3-4 liters of water per ton of seeds. Seeds can be processed either immediately before sowing or in advance. In order to avoid sticking and increased flowability, it is recommended to add 8-15 kg of talc (per ton of seeds) to the pickled seeds, after which they should be mixed again. When preparing seed, it is recommended to use quality seeds without mechanical impurities or damage.
