Mechanism of Action

Due to its two active ingredients, Ordan® provides preventative, curative, and eradicative action. Copper oxychloride (the contact component) inhibits enzymes and vital cell components of phytopathogenic fungi.

Method of Application

Foliar spraying during the growing season: the first application is preventative, carried out before row closure (canopy closure) or no later than two days after plant infection; subsequent applications are repeated at intervals of 7 to 14 days.

Speed of Action (Notes)

Cymoxanil is rapidly absorbed and penetrates deeply into the plant leaves, while copper oxychloride remains on the leaf surface.
