Purpose

Herbicide for the control of annual dicotyledonous weeds in sugar beet crops.

Advantages

• Indispensable when there is a threat of phytotoxicity: at high temperatures, heavy rainfall and in irrigated areas;
• Does not delay the development of sugar beets;
• The herbicide can be applied before sowing or before crop emergence.

Mechanism of action

Chloridazone penetrates the plant through the root system when applied in soil and through the leaves in the post-emergence period.

Recommendations for use

• Minimizing chemical stress for the treated crop (ANTISTRESS protection system) is an absolute advantage of using the herbicide PYRAMIN Turbo before germination in a tank mixture with the drug FRONTIERE Optima;
• Pre-emergence/pre-sowing mixed with FRONTIER Optima (1.0 l/ha) + PYRAMIN Turbo (2.0 l/ha);
• At high temperatures – even at high application rates and high temperatures PYRAMIN Turbo is not phytotoxic to sugar beets. In addition, at high temperatures PYRAMIN Turbo shows a pronounced contact effect on vegetative weeds;
• With heavy and frequent rainfall, any treatment with contact or systemic herbicides is practically useless if the drug is washed off by rain. Washed off PYRAMIN Turbo only enhances its effect by penetrating through the roots, i.e. has the same effect as contact herbicides and has soil action like soil herbicides.
